1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of velsentix.com (the “Website”) and your purchase and use of products supplied by VELSENTIX SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (“VELSENTIX”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website or buying our products, you agree to these Terms.
2. Use of the website
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.
3. Product information
We make every effort to keep product descriptions, images and specifications accurate. Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the supplied product. As part of continuous improvement, we may change specifications, designs or terminal layouts without prior notice. The specifications in your quotation, invoice or product documentation take precedence.
4. Quotations & orders
- Prices, availability and delivery timelines are confirmed in a written quotation or invoice.
- An order is accepted only when we confirm it in writing and receive any agreed advance payment.
- Prices are subject to applicable taxes, such as GST, and freight unless stated otherwise.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a product is unavailable or a compatibility assessment shows it is unsuitable. Any advance paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.
5. Compatibility & installation
The Wireless Tank & Pump Control System commands a compatible external motor starter through its control circuit. It is a starter-control device and does not switch motor power directly. A compatibility assessment of your motor starter panel is required before purchase. You must provide accurate information about your installation. VELSENTIX is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
A qualified electrician must carry out installation and wiring in line with applicable electrical codes and our instructions. Always isolate the power supply before wiring.
6. Safe use
- Use the products only for their intended purpose and within their rated specifications.
- Power the Sensor Node only with the specified 1.5 V AA alkaline (non-rechargeable) cells.
- Do not open, modify or repair the products yourself. Doing so may be unsafe and will void the warranty.
- Wireless range and performance depend on site conditions, such as distance, walls and interference.
7. Warranty
Products carry the warranty stated in the invoice or warranty documentation supplied with them. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover damage from incorrect installation or wiring, voltage surges, lightning, water ingress beyond the product's design, physical damage, use of wrong batteries, tampering or unauthorised repair. Batteries and consumables are not covered. Warranty claims require proof of purchase.
8. Returns & replacements
If a product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your invoice details and photographs. After inspection, we will repair or replace the product as appropriate. Products that have been installed, wired or modified are handled under the warranty terms rather than as returns.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELSENTIX is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including water loss, overflow, pump or motor damage, or loss of business, arising from the use of or inability to use our products. This includes losses caused by improper installation, incompatible equipment, or failures of external float switches, starters or power supply. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the product concerned.
10. Intellectual property
The VELSENTIX name, logo, product designs, images and Website content are the property of VELSENTIX SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal.
